Following an international recruitment process, the ANAT Board is very excited to announce the appointment of Vicki Sowry as our new Director.

Vicki has over 20 years experience in media arts management, extensive national and international networks and a strong vision for the future of ANAT as a national and international supporter of artists working with science and technology.

She takes the helm at an important time for ANAT, which is gearing up to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a host of projects including the the launch of Australia’s first Fab Lab in Adelaide in November 2012, hosting the preeminent international media arts event ISEA2013 in Sydney in June next year, and the production of the Echology public art projects throughout 2013.

The Board welcomes Vicki’s leadership of these and future landmark ANAT projects and looks forward to her contribution to the Australian arts sector more generally over the coming years.
