The ArtsHealth Centre for Research and Practice at the University of Newcastle has announced 3 more internationally renowned keynote speakers for its inaugural Symposium on the 8th and 9th of October this year. Professor Kathy Faber-Langendoen, MD, Chair of the Centre for Bioethics and Humanities, SUNY Upstate Medical University, New York; Professor Jane Davidson, University of Sheffield, UK and the Callaway-Tunley Chair of Music University of Western Australia; and Oron Catts, SymbioticA, the Art and Science Collaborative Research Laboratory at the University of Western Australia. Kathy Faber-Langendoen, Jane Davidson and Oron Catts now join Associate Professor Graeme Sullivan from Columbia University, New York, to complete the quartet of excellent keynote speakers who will be featured at the two-day Symposium. The Symposium has also put out a call for papers to be presented, which is open until 30 May, 2008.
