The Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) is thrilled to announce that the 15th Annual AIMIA Awards, the longest running and most prestigious awards in Australia’s interactive media industry, are now open for entries!

Celebrating the very best in digital content innovation across all genres and interactive media platforms, the AIMIA Awards recognise the industry’s finest and showcase Australia’s leading Digital Content developers, content providers and application developers.

There are 23 different Awards categories this year including a new category - Best Use of Social Media. You may enter a product in one or more of those categories apart from the category 22 (Best of the Best) and 23 (Outstanding Contribution Award).

Entries for the Awards are open from Wednesday 1st October to Tuesday 4th November 2008, and all AIMIA Business, Associate and Corporate members are eligible to enter. Student members can enter their projects into the Best Student Project category, and all members are invited to nominate an individual for the Outstanding Contribution Award.

Winners of the 15th AIMIA Awards will be announced and celebrated at the Digital Content Industry’s Night of Nights, a glitzy ceremony bringing together over 700 industry leaders in Sydney in March 2009.

Entries close 5pm AEST on Tuesday, November 4, 2008
