Kerreen Ely-Harper_
Graduate of Film & TV School, Vic College of Arts. Independent writer, director and educator in performing and media arts. Produced works for the theatre and screen include television drama, documentary, educational, corporate, and dance video, short narrative drama and comedy. My film Parts Of a Horse was short listed for the Cannes Film Festival in 2004 and has screened in New York, Tokyo, Manchester, Jaipur and Vermont, USA. And was nominated for an Australian Teacher’s of Media Award/ATOM, Best Drama 2005. I received an ATOM, Best Education Resource 1997 for my documentary In Her Own Words. Recently I developed and directed a Second Life Virtual Macbeth arts project in collaboration with multi media artist/producer Kate Richards and academic Dr Angela Thomas. The project was funded by the Australia Council’s Literature Board and the New Media Consortium/NMC in the USA, and is due for release in October/November 2008.
