F4 - First Factual Films Festival - Call for Entries_

The Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) is calling for emerging documentary filmmaking talent from around the country to submit their films to a new screening program – the First Factual Films Festival (F4) - to be held during AIDC 2010. Co-presented by the Media Resource Centre, F4 showcases first films from Australian documentary filmmakers at the start of their careers, alongside the first films of legendary documentary masters attending AIDC 2010 as special guests.
Held over three evenings from 23 to 25 February 2010 at the Mercury Cinema in Adelaide, F4 concludes with the presentation of the inaugural F4 Award for Outstanding New Documentary Talent to one exceptional filmmaker. Film entries can be of any documentary genre, style and length, made for any screen-based platform.
Submissions are now open and close on 3 December 2009
