Portable Worlds - Expressions of Interest Now Closed_

Calls have now closed for expressions of interest from Australian artists creating work for mobile phones for inclusion in Portable Worlds; a touring exhibition proposed to travel for 12 months to eight regional and major centres nationally.
Artists will receive an artist fee of $500 for the right to non–exclusive showing of their work, and may be offered further fees and travel to some venues to be involved in artist talks or workshops. All works will be appropriate for general viewing and will be assessed on artistic merit and suitability for tour.
The following industry personnel are currently assessing applications:
Claudia Sagripanti is Chair of the AIMIA Mobile Content Industry Development Group (MCIDG), board member of ANAT and runs VentureOn;
Christy Dena is a cross-media entertainment consultant, creator and researcher and a board member of dLux Media Arts;
Leslie Nassar is a board member of dLux Media Arts and runs mojourno.com;
Sasha Grbich is the ANAT project manager for Portable Worlds; and
Hugh Davies is an international digital media artist, educator and board member of ANAT.
