Inter Arts Office and New Media Arts Board Update_

Date 1st February 2005

Andrew Donovan, Manager of the New Media Arts Board has been appointed as the Director of the newly established Inter Arts Office.

Following the restructure of the Australia Council, the Inter Arts Office has been established to support hybrid arts activities and emerging art practices that are outside of existing art form categories.

The New Media Arts Board will be disbanded from July 1 2005 with its funding of approximately $2 million per annum allocated across the Inter Arts Office, Visual Arts Craft Board and Music Board. There will be one further funding round under the New Media Arts banner in 2005 (which will close on November 1).
