ANAT was supported by the Australia Council to develop the New Media Arts Fund and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Board Policy Initiative: A National School developed specifically for Indigenous Australian artists.
The initiative aimed to expand opportunities for Indigenous artists in New Media Arts through providing access to appropriate training and computer equipment and software for the development of digital arts practice.
