WearNow Symposium
ANAT, in partnership with Craft Australia and ANU, has brought together leading artists, researchers, theorists and writers in the field of wearable computing.
AIR Residency 2007/08
Arts Victoria’s Arts Innovation program provides support for professional artists to undertake a project with partners in other fields to share their respective knowledge and expertise. In 2007/08, ANAT partnered with Arts Victoria to deliver a further three residencies for artists within science/research settings.
reSkin
In Summer 2007 ANAT intertwined the practices of media arts and sound design, textile and weaving, jewellery object and fashion design to produce the reSkin Wearable Technology Lab.
Blast Theory Masterclass
ANAT co-ordinated a Masterclass with Blast Theory for Australia practitioners from January 13 – 15. The sixteen participants came from diverse backgrounds including wearable computing, software engineering, computer animation, filmmaking and visual arts.
