Synapse CSIRO Residencies – Call for Applications

 

The Australian Network for Art & Technology (ANAT) and CSIRO Manufacturing are calling for applications for the Synapse CSIRO Artists’ Residency program.

The residencies are open to Victorian-based artists working in any discipline and/or medium. Residencies shall take place over 12 weeks full-time (or part-time equivalent) at the CSIRO’s Clayton facilities during the 2017 calendar year.


The project partners have identified three research areas that we believe have the right mix of compelling science and researchers committed to working with the artists and providing the necessary level of support. The three are:

To ensure a fit between the artist and the CSIRO research team, it is strongly recommended that interested artists attend the Information Session to meet the researchers and learn more about the creative possibilities of their research areas. Details of the Information Session are:
