Call for South Australian Nominations to the ANAT Board
The Australian Network for Art & Technology (ANAT) is Australia’s leading arts organisation working with artists, scientists and technologists.
A national not-for-profit experimental arts organisation based on Kaurna Country in South Australia, over the past four decades since its incorporation in 1988, ANAT has cultivated opportunities for artists to create experimental work in and with science and technology.
Collaboration is in our DNA. ANAT relies on the vision and strength of our Board of Directors to guide our approach and intent.
Due to past members serving full tenure, we now have two vacancies, for South Australian based Identified positions.
With a commitment to platforming representatives of an inclusive and intersectional contemporary society, we encourage interest from people from all cultural backgrounds and abilities to apply.
Expressions of interest are welcomed from individuals with any of the following expertise or interests:
- Practicing artist interested in interdisciplinary practice
- legal, finance and risk
- development (including sponsorship, partnerships and fundraising and strategy)
- science and technology
Please note that these positions are voluntary to guide ANAT’s vision.
These positions include an honorarium to acknowledge the expertise, time, and contributions of those involved, including participation in six scheduled meetings per year and additional subcommittees as required. This includes the annual Adelaide NatMeet usually held over two days.
We’re looking for individuals who share our commitment to serving a central role for artists within the world and communities.
ANAT continues to serve the current 2025-2028 strategic plan, recognising that humanity and our planet are navigating a period of profound transformation, shaped by complex ecological, social, cultural, economic and technological challenges. Read the ANAT Strategic Plan 2025-2028
The ANAT Board and CEO will work together over the coming year and beyond into the next funding cycles on strategy, funding and the next forty years.
