DAY 3 :: EXPERIENCE
Saturday 4 October, 9am – 5.30pm
On the final day of SPECTRA, we will explore more of what the Sunshine Coast Biosphere has to offer.
Option One: Tallo Billa Ocean experience
Spend the morning on the ocean with Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) artist, Lyndon Davis, where you’ll experience the immersive deep-listening work, Tallo Billa, a unique performance that combines live streaming of humpback whale song from underwater hydrophones.

Option Two: Maroochy Bushland experience
The morning will begin with a sound walk in Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens by Kids in Action, and a conversation with Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) elder, Aunty Helena Gulash and Yimbaya Maranoa Arts Collective.
Afternoon
Both options will come together at Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens for lunch, then head to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve in the hinterland overlooking the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains for walks and conversation.
We will celebrate the close of ANAT SPECTRA :: Reciprocity at the Mapleton Public House. More than just a pub, the MPH believes that food connects us to the land, the water, the sky, and to one another.
