I work on optics, both optical fibres and the optical microstructures found in nature. I'm interested the connections between science and art, partly because science is often so beautiful, but also because I think science and technology are dominant themes in our culture.The scientific and industrial revolutions were way more influential than any political (and possibly religious) movement in defining our sense of self and how we see the world- so science should be a subject of artistic exploration.

M. Leaf-Tierney is an artist engaged in the fields of experimental music, installation, software art and live audio-visual performance. Under the current moniker 'Sinuso Dial', he uses extended guitar techniques, field recordings, and a combination of visual processes to create immersive, ambient and seductive audio-visual experiences. He has exhibited and performed locally & internationally.

Dianne Longley

Dianne Longley is a South Australian visual artist whose work combines a range of traditional and digital processes. She works across a range of media including encaustic and oil painting, pokerwork on wooden panels, printmaking, artist books, on-glaze porcelain, and small scale bronze casting from cuttlefish. Dianne teaches at Adelaide Centre for the Arts, and runs workshops from her studio and nationally. In 1998 she published 'Printmaking with Photopolymer Plates'.
